Hamilton Veterinary Hospital Joins the VetCor Family

November 6, 2020

VetCor has partnered with another hospital in New Jersey - meet Hamilton Veterinary Hospital.

Originally established in 1970 by Dr. Calvin Moon, Hamilton Veterinary Hospital was later purchased by Dr. Moon's daughter, Dr. Mary Moon, in 1995. Since then, this small animal hospital has been providing top notch veterinary care to cats and dogs in Trenton and the surrounding communities.

A 1983 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Moon is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA). She's been a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) for 20 years and, in the past, she's served on the AVMA's executive board.

Dr. Moon works alongside Drs. Judy Passmore and Megan Emma. After earning her DVM degree from Michigan State University in 1982, Dr. Passmore initially worked in equine medicine. In 1994, she transitioned to working with small animals and has been part of the Hamilton team since 1997. She has a professional interest in feline medicine and remains a member of both the AVMA and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). A lifelong resident of Mercer County, Dr. Emma graduated from Tufts University in 2012. She has special interests in internal medicine and behavioral issues.

The doctors are supported by their skilled hospital manager, Jim Harper, and a small but mighty team of veterinary technicians and receptionists who are passionate about their work.

Hamilton Veterinary Hospital provides their clients with a wide range of services, including wellness exams, vaccines, laser therapy, dentistry, and surgery.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to the clients, staff, and patients of Hamilton Veterinary Hospital!
