Compassion Abounds

Compassion Abounds

July 18, 2023

Our hospital teams never know the types of cases that might come their way every day. What is consistent, however, is the level of high-quality care and compassion they give no matter who the patient is or what they are visiting for.

Integrative Animal Hospital of Central FloridaIntegrative Animal Hospital of Central Florida - Sanford, Florida
A very special client of Integrative Animal Hospital came in, not with her own pet, but with this girl she stopped to save from crossing an intersection. She already had a broken shell, but after x-rays, they found out she was carrying over 20 eggs. This mama-to-be had her shell repaired and was then transferred to a rehab facility to continue her care. Thanks to the kindness of both the team at Integrative Animal Hospital and their client, mom and her babies will be released back into the wild, completely healed.

Earlysville Animal HospitalEarlysville Animal Hospital - Earlysville, Virginia
The team at Earlysville had the pleasure of treating a beloved dog, Max, through his cancer treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to the disease a few weeks ago. The team was so glad to see his dad back in the hospital, this time to donate a bunch of his pup’s favorite dog food. They delivered it to Meals on Wheels who will give it to their customers with pets.

Tender Touch Veterinary HospitalTender Touch Veterinary Hospital - Scarborough, Maine
Archer visited Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital and he experienced all of their Fear Free techniques which made his visit pleasant. With paws like that it was super helpful to have comfortable, non-slip surfaces for his exam. Though you can’t hear it, Archer was being lulled into calmness with pet friendly music, too. To top it off there was an abundance of tasty treats to distract him and make him happy. He had a fur-bulous visit!

Bayside Animal Hospital Bayside Animal Hospital - Cambridge, Maryland
Dr. Spofford, the Chief of Staff at Bayside Animal Hospital got to end his Monday with this cutie. Molly was all about giving out puppy snuggles. Dr. Spofford and his wife Dr. Gosser opened Bayside in 1997 and have been providing their own special brand of care and compassion to many puppies like Molly since day one. Part of the joy comes from watching them grow—they can’t wait to see Molly at her next visit.

Capitol Area Animal Medical CenterCapitol Area Animal Medical Center - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
This little beauty came into Capital Area Animal Medical Center just looking to snuggle in with everyone. This is Duwop, a 10-week-old American Bully whose tail does not stop. Jennika, a technician on the team, was happy to snuggle Duwop right back. She can’t hold back that smile!
