Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic is the newest addition to the VetCor family – bringing our total number of locations to 16 in the Old Line State.
Originally established in 1990 by Dr. Randy Barbour, Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic moved to its current location in 1999. Dr. Barbour partnered with Dr. Geof Ruppert in 2009 and, since then, this AAHA-accredited animal hospital has been providing high quality veterinary care to local companion animals.
A 1986 graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Barbour spent four years working in emergency and small animal medicine before opening Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic. He currently lives in Arizona and no longer works at the practice. Like Dr. Barbour, Dr. Ruppert earned his DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. He began his career working with both small and large animals but decided to focus on treating companion animals in 1996.
As Chief of Staff, Dr. Ruppert works alongside Drs. Alex Barnard and Michelle Kluchurosky. A Maryland native, Dr. Barnard graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. She has experience working with companion animals, pocket pets, and horses and enjoys diagnostics, pathology, and geriatric medicine. A 1997 graduate of Ohio State University, Dr. Kluchurosky is experienced in small animal medicine. She is particularly interested in dermatology and feline medicine.
The doctors are supported by their longtime hospital manager, Jo Jo Grigsby, and a hardworking team of veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and receptionists who love what they do.
Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic offers their clients a variety of services, ranging from wellness exams and vaccines to dentistry and surgery.
It’s our pleasure to have partnered with such a well-loved practice. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Ruppert and his team, as well as the clients and patients at Yellow Springs Veterinary Clinic, to the VetCor family!
