Position Details
Role: Experienced or Registered Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: $21.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and credentialing
Schedule: Full-time schedule, including two Saturday shifts per month (8:30 AM–2:30 PM)

What You'll Do

• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
• Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures; RVTs may perform extractions where permitted
• Properly restrain patients using low-stress handling techniques
• Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
• Administer medications and injections (IV, SQ, and IM)
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Collect laboratory samples and assist with in-house diagnostics
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs
• Provide critical care nursing, including patient triage, treatment, and monitoring
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Communicate compassionately with clients and collaborate with teammates throughout the hospital
• Assist reception team members as needed to provide an exceptional client experience

What You'll Bring

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician; Registered Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply
• Strong anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry experience preferred
• Confidence performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and radiology
• Excellent patient nursing and monitoring skills
• Strong communication and client service abilities
• Computer proficiency and strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork
• Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
