Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Starting between $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience and licensure
  • Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week, 7:30 am -6 pm. Every other Saturday, 7:30 am - 12:00 pm

Murphy Road Animal Hospital is a full-service, multi-doctor small-animal practice dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our modern, well-equipped hospital features ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, Synovetin OA, and a full in-house laboratory, giving our team the tools to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care and our Veterinary Technicians the opportunity to work with advanced technology every day.

We’re looking for a dedicated, motivated Veterinary Technician who’s passionate about animal health and client service. You’ll bring:

What You’ll Do

 

As a Veterinary Technician at Murphy Road Animal Hospital, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our doctors and delivering outstanding patient care. You’ll:

  • Assist in surgical, dental, and medical procedures with confidence and compassion
  • Perform technical tasks, including blood draws, lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
  • Provide education and guidance to clients to ensure understanding and comfort
  • Support smooth clinic operations by communicating clearly with doctors and teammates
  • Maintain detailed medical records and uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness
  • Help every patient—and every client—feel at ease
