Professional requirements include the following:

• Assist the Veterinarian with routine patient appointments and surgical procedures
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples for in-house and offsite testing
• Assist with radiographs and ultrasounds under the guidance of the attending Veterinarian
• Set up, monitor, and assist in dental/surgical procedures
• Prepare and assist in surgeries, including catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring
• Ensure all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and stored
• Prepare appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visits and provide detailed medical notes following visit
