  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
  • Schedule: Includes evenings and every 4th Saturday. Exact schedule to be determined

Lambs Gap Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated and compassionate team. We are a well-established, four-doctor general practice that has proudly served companion animals and pocket pets in the Mechanicsburg community for more than 30 years.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide safe and effective animal restraint
  • Educate clients and communicate treatment recommendations clearly
  • Prepare and analyze blood and urine specimens
  • Perform parasite identification and skin/ear cytology evaluations
  • Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Administer IV, IM, and SQ medications and vaccinations
  • Assist with ultrasounds and diagnostic imaging
  • Maintain accurate computerized medical records
  • Prepare prescriptions for patients
  • Follow proper radiographic techniques and safety protocols
  • Assist with hospital cleanliness and daily operations
  • Support veterinarians and fellow team members with compassionate patient care


What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Minimum of four years of veterinary technician experience
  • Credentialing preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Desire to continue growing knowledge and technical skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to receive constructive feedback professionally
