What You’ll Do

• Safely restrain and handle patients using fear-free and low-stress techniques
• Obtain patient histories and perform patient assessments
• Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
• Obtain and process radiographs and dental X-rays
• Prepare medications and support patient treatments
• Maintain clean exam rooms, kennels, runs, and hospital areas
• Support hospitalized patient care and daily clinic operations
• Occasionally participate in a cat rodeo with professionalism and humor

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Previous veterinary assistant experience required
• Strong surgical assisting and anesthesia monitoring skills
• Experience with dental radiographs preferred
