Animal House of Chicago is searching for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our incredible team. What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
• Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples
• Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
• Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and support daily hospital operations
• Assist with occasional kennel responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver outstanding patient care

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of veterinary assistant experience
• Surgical and anesthesia monitoring experience
• Proficiency with venipuncture
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for learning and growing professionally
• Exotic animal experience is a plus
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
