Position Details

  • Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Four x 10-hour shifts. Weekends off!

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Safely handle and restrain patients during appointments and treatments
  • Support patient care, treatments, and nursing responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostics, laboratory testing, and sample collection
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Educate clients and communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately
  • Support daily hospital operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional patient care and client service

What Our Veterinary Team Members Bring

  • Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience preferred
  • Veterinary Technician license welcomed but not required
  • Strong patient care and animal handling skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
  • Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment
