Position Details

• Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: $28–$32 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with one to two Saturdays per month

Our Veterinary Technicians contribute to successful patient care by:

• Being in position and prepared to work when the scheduled shift starts
• Maintaining professional appearance
• Training and mentoring assistants and other staff members
• Providing excellent perioperative care
• Performing blood draws, IV catheter placement, IV, SQ, IM injections, and cystocentesis
• Operating and helping maintain hospital equipment
• Administering treatments to patients as directed
• Documenting all treatments, instructions, and conversations in medical record
• Assisting with kennel duties such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, and kennel cleaning
