Looking for a veterinary hospital where you can build your skills, practice excellent medicine, and still have a life outside of work?
Rose City Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate and dedicated team. We’re also happy to consider new veterinary technician graduates whose licensure is pending successful completion of the VTNE.
As Portland’s oldest and one of its most trusted small animal practices, Rose City has a long history of providing exceptional veterinary medicine, surgery, and pet health education. That history matters to us, but so does continuing to evolve. We believe our team members are the heart of everything we do, and we’re committed to creating a workplace where people feel supported, included, and excited to grow.
Whether you're an experienced technician ready for your next chapter or a new graduate preparing to begin your career, you'll find mentorship, professional development, and a team ready to help you thrive.

What You'll Bring
The Extras You'll Actually Feel
At Rose City Veterinary Hospital, our history may go back a long way, but we're always looking forward. We believe the best veterinary hospitals are built by people who feel valued, supported, and empowered to keep growing.
For new graduates, that means joining an environment where you aren't expected to know everything on day one. You'll have opportunities for mentorship, continuing education, hands-on learning, and professional development as you transition from school into practice.
For experienced technicians, it means having the freedom to put your hard-earned skills to work while continuing to expand them and sharing what you know with the people around you.
We also believe that a rewarding veterinary career should leave room for the rest of your life. A consistent four-day workweek with no nights, holidays, or on-call shifts gives you more time to enjoy everything Portland and the Pacific Northwest have to offer.
And because work should have some fun mixed in, don't be surprised by the occasional coffee run, ice cream party, or team lunch on us.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.

There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.

The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.

There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.

Join a group of motivated veterinary professionals while taking advantage of employee programs, resources, and fantastic benefits. Join one of our many collaboration groups for Hospital Managers, Techs, and Vets! Plus, we love supporting growth in your teams' desired career paths. Gain access to mentorship at all levels, continuing education, wellness resources, and more!

Feel the pride of being part of a network of reputable and sought-after practices. You have been empowered to leave your mark on the community and it is a difference you can feel. Not only does your work benefit the lives of individual pets and their people, but your hard work and dedication has made you a cornerstone of your pet community.
