Role:  Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant 

Status:  Full-time

Salary:  $18.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience and licensure

Schedule: Flexible 4-day work weeks with rotating half-day Saturday shifts

What Our Veterinary Technicians and Assistants Do

Every day brings something new, but here’s a glimpse into the skills you’ll put to work:

• Patient Care & Nursing: Provide compassionate animal restraint, husbandry, obtain TPRs, administer medications, injections, and vaccines
• Laboratory Work: Perform blood draws and IV catheter placement, prepare and analyze lab samples, and document accurate results
• Surgical & Anesthetic Support: Monitor anesthesia, assist in surgical procedures, intubate patients, and ensure safe recoveries
• Clinical Procedures: Perform nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleanings, tick removal, and suture/staple removal
• Radiology & Imaging: Take and process diagnostic and dental radiographs
• Sterilization & Safety: Sterilize surgical instruments and packs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital
• Client Communication: Educate pet parents about procedures, medications, and ongoing care
• Medical Records: Maintain thorough, accurate patient documentation and assist doctors in case management

What You'll Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings skill, positivity, and compassion to the team:

• Active Wisconsin CVT license (or eligibility), or equivalent experience as a Veterinary Assistant
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A calm, collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork
• Technical confidence across clinical, surgical, and laboratory settings
• A desire to keep learning and growing in your veterinary career
