Schedule: Rotating four-day work week; Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

What Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Do

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
• Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
• Perform venipuncture, laboratory sample collection, and in-house diagnostics
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Safely restrain patients using compassionate, low-stress handling techniques
• Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment

What Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Bring

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credential preferred, or at least one year of previous veterinary assistant or animal care experience
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of animal behavior and patient care
• Compassion for pets, clients, and teammates
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle larger patients when needed
