Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Receptionist
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: 4-day work week with no nights, weekends, or holiday hours! 

Sanford Animal Hospital is a busy, team-focused small-animal practice dedicated to providing compassionate care for our patients and exceptional service to our clients. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, positive work environment where teamwork and communication are key.  We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Veterinary Receptionist (CSR) to join our front desk team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience for our clients and ensuring smooth daily operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet clients and patients with a warm, professional attitude
• Answer phones and manage multiple lines efficiently
• Schedule appointments and manage daily workflow
• Check clients in and out, including processing payments
• Maintain accurate client and patient records in our system
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, and follow-ups
• Support the medical team by relaying messages and coordinating care
• Help maintain a clean and organized front desk area

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous veterinary or medical office experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Experience with EzyVet or similar software is a plus
