Position Details
Cornerstone Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced full-time receptionist with awesome customer service skills to become a long-term member of our team. We are a full-service animal hospital dedicated to providing the highest standard of veterinary care.
This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, personable, hard-working, and detail-oriented person who wants to help serve people and their pets in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal applicant would have at least one year of experience as a receptionist in an animal hospital, great customer service and computer skills, self-leadership, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Duties: Answering and screening phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking in patients, processing customer payments, and educating clients.
Patient Handling: Escorting patients to and from the kennels, as well as escorting clients and patients into exam rooms
Miscellaneous Tasks: performing clinic opening and closing procedures, preparing documents for patient admittance, maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization, and communicating with fellow team members throughout the clinic
Experience with Avimark practice management software is a plus
Physical Demands: Must be able to perform general physical activities pertaining to the everyday maintenance of a busy veterinary hospital. These may include assisting the pets into and out of the clinic, stocking and organizing inventory, and other general daily operating duties.
In short, this position is best suited for an active, non-sedentary person with positive energy and a desire to get things done.
