Looking for a Veterinary Receptionist Role Where No Two Days Are the Same?

Are you an animal lover with excellent customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Penny Paws is looking for a friendly, organized Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice while helping create exceptional experiences for pets and the people who love them.

This role is about much more than answering phones. Our reception team keeps the hospital running smoothly while creating a positive, supportive experience for every patient and client who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and check in clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
• Schedule appointments and coordinate daily hospital flow
• Process payments and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Support veterinarians and hospital staff with administrative tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout every interaction
• Help create positive client and patient experiences every day

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

• Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred
• Passion for animals and exceptional customer service
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with scheduling software is a plus but not required
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented mindset
• Customer service experience required
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
