Position Details

• Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
• Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts

What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring

• Previous Veterinary Assistant experience
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment
• A warm, empathetic approach toward clients and their pets
• Comfort working with computers and veterinary software systems (experience a plus!)
• A professional, flexible, and positive attitude
• Commitment to compassionate medicine and a great client experience

What You’ll Do

• Assist in exams, radiology, vaccine preparation, and note-taking for doctors
• Handle client inquiries and appointment requests with friendliness and professionalism
• Support smooth patient flow by updating records and ensuring appointments stay on track
• Assist with gentle animal restraint during exams and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold our hospital’s high standards of care
• Be ready to jump in where needed—because teamwork is at the heart of what we do!
• Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
