Little Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Assistant to join our busy two-doctor practice. We offer all the advantages of an established, well-managed hospital along with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges. If you're passionate about animal care and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we'd love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Feed and provide water to animals in our care
  • Bathe and provide basic husbandry for patients
  • Sterilize equipment and maintain clean examination rooms
  • Assist with handling and restraining patients during examinations, treatments, and vaccinations
  • Record patient information including weights and medications
  • Support veterinarians and technicians with daily patient care needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
  • Assist with daily kennel and hospital operations

What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring

  • Previous veterinary experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills necessary to maintain patient records

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
