Position Details

  • Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $17 – $20 per hour
  • Schedule: Tuesday - Friday. Rotating Saturdays
  • Requirements: Bilingual candidates preferred

How Our Veterinary Assistants Contribute

  • Working directly alongside our doctors, assisting and floating between appointments
  • Safely restraining patients for exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Assisting with sedated procedures
  • Performing nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Supporting the technicians in acquiring diagnostics
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring efficient hospital flow
  • Contributing to a clean, organized, and professional hospital environment
  • Traveling to our sister locations when needed: South Plainfield, Piscataway, and Fords

What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the veterinary field (Veterinary Assistant or similar role required)
  • Ability to safely restrain dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Open availability and flexible scheduling
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
