Hinkle’s Pet Hospital in Spindale, NC is looking for a veterinarian to join our experienced and collaborative team. Proudly serving Rutherford County and the surrounding community, our practice offers a diverse caseload, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Our standalone, 4,000-square-foot hospital features four exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, treatment area, full-service grooming, and a 73-cage boarding facility currently undergoing renovations.

We offer structured mentorship that gradually builds confidence—from shadowing during the first week to vaccine appointments, sick-patient examinations, and eventually navigating emergencies. Experienced veterinarians and those interested in part-time opportunities are also welcome.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding.
