Bellwood is a multi-doctor, full-service practice that provides care for both companion animals and exotics. Our modern facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology, including ultrasound, orthopedic tools, and digital imaging, allowing us to deliver exceptional care to our patients. We’ve streamlined our operations with AVImark software in a paper-lite environment that supports both efficiency and remote access for our team.
 
We strongly value work-life balance and offer a structured schedule that includes a dedicated day off each week and alternating half-day Saturdays. Plus, there are no on-call responsibilities—our local emergency hospital provides 24/7 coverage so you can truly unplug after hours. Located in Rockford, known as the "Forest City," our community offers a vibrant cultural scene, beautiful outdoor attractions like the Anderson Japanese Gardens and Rock Cut State Park, and quick access to Madison and Chicago for weekend getaways
