The Animal Hospital of Berlin in Kensington, Connecticut, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our close-knit, long-standing team! We’ve proudly served our community for decades and have been the trusted veterinary home for multiple generations of clients. We’re now ready to welcome a second doctor to help us continue providing the exceptional, personalized care our patients deserve.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Veterinarian to step into a leadership or Associate role offering excellent patient care! Previous leadership experience is not required.
About Us
We’re an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital located just south of Hartford. Our recently renovated facility features:
3 exam rooms
Dedicated surgical area
Cat boarding and grooming services (no dogs)
New floors, ceiling, paint, HVAC ductwork, and updated electrical
New IDEXX in-house lab equipment
Ultrasound
We are 100% small animal, focusing on providing high-quality, individualized medicine in a relaxed, family-oriented environment. We proudly support our community by caring for pets from Berlin and New Britain Animal Control, the New Britain Police Department K9s, and partnering with several local rescues including Friends of Berlin Animal Control, Hidden Treasures Cat Rescue, Animal Alliance Welfare League, and Hearts United Cat Rescue.
We’re a tight-knit, supportive group - many of our team members have worked together for over 20 years! We believe in work-life balance and maintaining a laid-back, friendly atmosphere where everyone helps each other out. During appointments and surgeries, our veterinarians are always supported by at least two experienced assistants/technicians, with additional help available as needed. We’ve maintained our AAHA accreditation for over 30 years, a testament to our commitment to excellence in patient care and team standards.
What We Offer

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees!
