Penny Paws VCO is seeking a dependable and compassionate Relief Veterinarian to support our mobile wellness clinics on weekends. This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian looking for flexible, predictable hours while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.
Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location:
Mobile clinics serving the Greater San Antonio area up to Temple, Texas
About the Role:
Provide high-quality preventive and wellness care in a mobile clinic setting
Focus on vaccinations, wellness exams, and client education
No surgery or on-call responsibilities
Work alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary team
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Veterinarian in the state of Texas
Strong communication and client service skills
Comfort working in a fast-paced, community-focused environment

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding.
