Are you looking for variety, collaboration, and a supportive team? Come thrive with us at Red Star Veterinary Clinic — a well-established mixed-animal practice nestled in the scenic countryside of Northeastern Ohio. Our four-doctor team delivers high-quality medicine with compassion, mentorship, and a genuinely positive team culture.
We are seeking a Mixed Animal Associate Veterinarian to join our growing practice. This is a mixed-animal role, with a caseload primarily focused on equine and small ruminant medicine, alongside small animal care.
While we offer flexibility in case distribution—allowing a veterinarian to lean more heavily into small animal medicine if preferred—participation in the large animal on-call rotation is required as part of being a mixed practitioner.
Important distinction:
This role does not include routine cattle or production work, making it an excellent fit for veterinarians who enjoy large animal medicine without heavy herd or production responsibilities.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.

There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.

The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
