  • Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $24 - $28 per hour based on experience and licensure
  • Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week with no nights, weekends, or holiday hours!

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) (2+ years in a veterinary hospital setting preferred)

  • A solid understanding of animal handling, restraint, and low-stress techniques

  • Proficiency with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection

  • Experience assisting with anesthesia, monitoring, and recovery

  • Ability to perform laboratory testing and interpret basic results

  • Radiology experience (positioning, safety, and image capture)

  • Medication calculation, preparation, and administration skills

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, and treatments

  • Obtain patient histories and perform initial assessments

  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection

  • Run in-house laboratory tests and prepare samples for reference labs

  • Prepare, administer, and monitor medications and vaccines

  • Assist with anesthesia, surgery, and post-operative recovery

  • Take and process radiographs following safety protocols

  • Provide high-quality nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients

  • Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and at-home care

  • Accurately document patient care in medical records

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment

  • Support a positive, collaborative team environment
