Position Details

Role: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right candidate)
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience and credentials
Schedule: 4-day work week 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No weekends!

We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician who thrives in a busy hospital setting, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, and is passionate about delivering compassionate care to patients and clients alike.

What Veterinary Technicians/Assistants Do

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Safely and compassionately restrain patients
  • Prepare examination rooms and support patient flow throughout the day
  • Collect laboratory samples, including fecal, urine, and blood samples as appropriate
  • Perform in-house laboratory testing and assist with diagnostics
  • Obtain and process radiographs
  • Maintain accurate patient records within EzyVet
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
  • Support exceptional patient care from admission through discharge

What Veterinary Technicians/Assistants Bring

  • Minimum of one year of Veterinary Assistant experience required
  • RVT credentials preferred but not required
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and client service
  • Desire to continue learning and growing within the profession
