Vetcor University: Making an Impact

Vetcor University: Making an Impact

October 31, 2023

Kicking off just 4 short months ago, our team members have completed over 8,065 courses on Vetcor University. This learning platform has become a go-to source for continuing education for many of our hospitals.

Veterinary industry specific learning content that can accelerate our team member’s careers is literally at their fingertips. Vetcor University includes both soft and technical skill courses that can be customized to each individual. The platform has courses on everything from medical terminology to client service support skills to teamwork essentials and communication tips—it has something for everyone at our hospitals. Vetcor University even offers RACE approved CE. Team members can learn at their own pace, making the learning experience impactful and enjoyable.

Danielle from Leland Veterinary Clinic uses Vetcor University in her team training and encourages individuals to take advantage of the platform. “My team is so eager to learn everyday. I think that their appetite for growing in this field is something I appreciate more than I could even express to them, and I think Vetcor University is a great way for them to learn more on subjects they are interested in.”

Vetcor University allows teams to support and celebrate each other throughout the learning process. Kai from Creature Comforts Animal Hospital shared, “We measure progress by regularly assessing the team members in completing courses and achieving their learning objectives through our monthly or bi-weekly check-ins. We will also recognize team members who excel in their learning and development efforts through Vetcor University at our team and department meetings. Acknowledging their achievements can motivate others to engage more actively with the platform. We also feel it is important to track outcomes. We monitor how the knowledge gained from Vetcor University contributes to improved patient care, customer satisfaction, or other relevant performance metrics within our hospital.”
