Every month, our team takes a moment to lift each other up and celebrate the people who make Vetcor such a supportive community. Below is this month’s collection of appreciation messages from team members who wanted to recognize colleagues for their hard work, kindness, and everyday impact. 

Jolene O'Brien from Berrien Vet, Baroda, Michigan wants to recognize Savanna Paxton, HM: "I am so delighted that I get to work with such a great manager and I am so grateful for all her hard work for end of year tasks too!  She's the best!" 

Angie Boatwright from Carthage Animal Hospital, Carthage, North Carolina wants to recognize Shanda Preble, Office Assitant: "Shanda is my right arm! She is always willing to step up and do whatever needs to be done. Her assistance is treasured!" 

Amy Klotz from OPS wants to recognize Stephanie Head, Hospital Manager-Jackson Veterinary Hospital: "Stephanie leads her team with thoughtfulness and positivity that she shares throughout the entire group of hospital managers within Vetcor. Thank you, Stephanie for being forward thinking and positive in your approach to all of the challenges that come with veterinary medicine!" 

Dawn Bedell from Capitol Area Animal Medical Center, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania wants to recognize Andrea Barnett, HM: "Thank you Andrea for you help while I transition to a new clinic in a new state! You have always been quick to respond to my many questions and I really appreciate the support." 

Mandy Tinker from Aspen Springs Animal Hospital, Bowmanville, Ontario wants to recognize Sarah Moxley, RVT: "Sarah is the newest member of our awesome Aspen Springs AH Team. She has come in to work with us as a full time technician who possesses a multitude of experience in the veterinary field. Sarah has a calm nature and is great with clients. I appreciate having another hockey mom on board who understands the hockey mom life! Thanks so much for joining our team Sarah, we love having you!" 

Jessica Daniels from OPS wants to recognize Terri Page, Hospital Manager at Best Friends Animal Clinic: "I wanted to give a shout out to Terri at Best Friends Animal Clinic. She did a great job supporting her clinic this past year and while her COS was on maternity leave. Terri did a great job navigating all the challenges of the role while supporting her team. Thank you!" 

Terina Dobson from Poland Animal Hospital Poland, Maine wants to recognize Dawn Conklin, Systems Administrator: "Dawn is an OG and MVP of Team Vetcor. I LOVE when I hear her on the other line! Just recently, she called me about a ticket I submitted through the Help Desk. We spent over an hour on the phone but she took care of my ticket and about 3-4 other tickets during our call. She knows exactly what I need and if she doesn't have the answer right then (which is rare), she will find the answer and call me back. Thank you, Dawn! You are our rockstar!" 

Britni Rosala from Roberts and Wendt Animal Hospital, Lakewood, Ohio wants to recognize Maggie Kuhn, HM: "Maggie is always willing to lend a helping hand, an ear to listen and she offers great advice. She is a very knowledge HM and she is great at her job. I'm very grateful to have her to help me and bounce ideas off of." 

Britni also wants to recognize Aiman Labib, Chief of Staff: "I want to thank Dr. Labib for being so supportive and kind. We make an excellent team and I'm very grateful to have him be a part of our hospital's leadership team."

Kelly McNeely from Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada wants to recognize Cassandra McGarry, RVT: "Cassandra has taken on the management of our Drug Logs, and it is so greatly appreciated! Her diligence and attention to detail are a great asset, and she is always mindful of hiccups, challenges, and opportunities for improving the process. Thank you, Cassandra, for taking this on, and keeping up the great work!" 

Megan White from Lake Parkway Animal Hospital, Humble, Texas wants to recognize Brittani Bishop, Technician: "Brittani always goes above and beyond! She multitasks tremendously well. She is always willing to do whatever is needed to get our clients and patients taken care of each and every day. We thank you for all your hard work Brittani!!!" 

Jess Safani-Franko from Agoura Animal Clinic, Agoura Hills, California wants to recognize Avery Jemine, RVT and Julia Alloy, RVT: "Avery and Julia are amazing in so many ways - I know I can count on them to take excellent care of our patients. I want to give them a special shoutout for their help with our End of Year inventory. I was sick and I would not have been able to complete our EOY inventory without their assistance! I am always thankful for them, but I wanted to give them special recognition for helping me out so much!" 

Mackenzie Hayes from Epping Road Veterinary Hospital, Exeter, New Hampshire wants to recognize the entire team: "I cannot thank my team enough for their support on all things end of year. Without your hard work, flexibility and diligence, things would have looked a lot differently. So grateful for you all every day! " 

Ashley Cogovan from Killewald Small Animal Hospital, Amherst, New York wants to recognize Christine Zuba, LVT: "Christine is an invaluable staff member. She goes above and beyond in her job & is often quietly behind the scenes making sure that our clinic is running smoothly. She goes out of her way to make sure we have everything we need for surgical procedures, patients have what they need & that we don't miss a thing! We wouldn't be the great team we are without her and appreciate her as a staff member & a kind person. " 

Tammy Putnam from Richmond Veterinary Clinic, Richmond, Kentucky wants to recognize the whole RVC Team!, Doctors, CSRs, Vet Assistants and Assistant Manager: "On 1/2/2026 I introduced a Winter Warmth Contest which is very similar to Summer Splash and the team has embraced it and is working together to keep the checkout links going strong and the appointment booking optimized!   I am so proud of the group and love how they are making a difference in so many pet’s lives. Every day I am in awe of the outstanding job they all do!" 

Suzi McDonnell from Vista Pet Hospital, Portland, Oregon wants to recognize Summer Russell, CVT, IT Service Desk Technician: "They are INCREDIBLY tech savvy and are able to resolve any ticket I throw at them, without adding to the issues at hand." 

Talia Sundstrom from OPS wants to recognize Sierra Sambolin, Hospital Manager, Hidden Hills Animal Hospital: "Sierra has stepped in to provide support for a practice without management including taking on their ezVet conversion. She's a rockstar!" 

 

Talia also wants to recognize Savannah Parker DVM, Chief of Staff, Hidden Hills Animal Hospital: "Dr. Parker has gone above and beyond to connect with associate DVMs in her area who do not have a COS to lend support and mentorship. She does the right thing 100% of the time and is a total super star!" 

Ashlee Hilton from Snohomish Station Animal Hospital, Snohomish, Washington wants to recognize Halieann Striedinger, Lead Veterinary Technician: "I want to take a moment to recognize Halieann for her incredible dedication to her patients and passion for surgical cases. Her knowledge, drive to keep learning, and willingness to teach make her an invaluable technician and leader within our team. She has a meaningful impact not only on our staff but also on the care and confidence we provide to our clientele. We are so grateful to have her as part of our team." 

Destiny Rodriguez from Medina Veterinary Clinic, Medina, Ohio wants to recognize Erika Campbell, CSR: "Erika has been such a wonderful addition to the team. She does a wonderful job in educating clients as kindly as possible with her knowledge of vet medicine." 

Katrina Guell from Scottsdale Cat Clinic, Scottsdale, Arizona wants to recognize Laura Buchanan, Technician: "I wanted to take a moment to recognize Laura. Laura has been with our clinic for 10years now and we are so lucky to have her on our team! She is so gentle and loving to each and every feline patient she interacts with. She never says no when a shift needs covering and she is a master of inventory. She has supported us through our roller coaster of years, and is a great example of resilience. We look forward to continuing our journey with you!" 

Lindsey Weightman from St. Francis Animal Hospital, North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania wants to recognize Dr. Jessica Addis, Chief of Staff: "I'd like to shout out (from the rooftops) our Chief of Staff, Dr. Addis —thank you for your generosity, passion, and unwavering commitment to veterinary medicine. Your tireless work elevates patient care, strengthens our hospital, and inspires our entire team every day. Thank you for all that you do!"
