These stories offer a look into the personalities, surprises, and everyday connections that make our team's work so joyful. From spirited kittens and smiling greyhounds to unexpected client encounters and thoughtful reptile care, each moment showcases the warmth and character that shine throughout their clinics.
Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital - Scarborough, Maine
Maple has a talent for brightening even the busiest days, especially when she’s “assisting” Kennel Tech Morgan with important paperwork, an activity she approaches with the confidence of a seasoned supervisor. At Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital, Maple charms everyone she meets with her gentle quirks and unmistakable greyhound grin. Whether she’s flashing that signature smile on a rainy afternoon or spending quiet moments with Ruth, the beloved foster tortoise, Maple brings her warmth to every corner of the clinic.
Northern Michigan Veterinary Hospital - Williamsburg, Michigan
There is a special kind of brightness when reptiles come to visit Northern Michigan Veterinary Hospital thanks to Dr. Durham’s enthusiasm for caring for animals of every shape and size. Roxy, the Russian tortoise featured here, embodies that uplifting spirit with her gentle nature and charm. From scales to shells, Dr. Durham’s dedication ensures each reptile receives thoughtful, attentive care. For anyone with a reptilian companion in need of a check-up, the hospital is always ready to help keep these unique pets thriving.
South Side Animal Hospital - Indianapolis, Indiana
Southside Animal Hospital’s annual Christmas Party turned into an unexpected reminder of just how closely connected they are to the community they serve. The team enjoyed a festive evening filled with great food and plenty of laughs at the Mind Tripping show at the Hilton, completely unaware that the performers, Christian and Katalina, the well-known husband-and-wife comedy mind-reading duo, were actually clients of the hospital. Only after the show did the team discover that the couple brings their dog, Swarmi, to Southside for care. It was a fun “small world” moment that highlighted the genuine relationships the hospital has built with local families, both two-legged and four-legged.
Twinbrook Veterinary Hospital - Erie, Pennsylvania
Captain has become a fast favorite among the team, and even though her latest visit was due to an injury, she handled it with her usual sweetness. After taking a tumble down the stairs during playtime with her sibling, she came in for plenty of cuddles and the care she needed at Twinbrook Veterinary Hospital. She’ll be stopping by often over the next few weeks as she continues to heal, and the staff is already rallying around her with encouragement and affection. Everyone is rooting for this sweet girl as she works her way back to full strength.
Purdy Veterinary Hospital - Gig Harbor, Washington
Melee made quite an entrance during her first visit to Purdy Veterinary Hospital, and the team quickly discovered she’s an extra-spicy little character with plenty of opinions to share. Between bursts of enthusiastic purring, she had a whole lot to say, making sure everyone knew exactly how she felt about her big day. Nearly every photo captured her mid-meow or flashing her tiny teeth, adding even more personality to her already memorable debut. She may be small, but Melee certainly knows how to leave a lasting impression.
