Vetcor continues to prioritize education and hands-on learning opportunities for veterinary professionals across our network. Our regional management team plays a key role in making these trainings happen, ensuring they reflect what teams value most. Beyond these sessions, Vetcor remains committed to offering a variety of continuing education opportunities to help team members grow their skills and advance their careers. Here’s a look at some of the latest training events that brought this commitment to life.
The sessions took place across three locations and were led by Abby Buckman, Lead Technician at Ark Veterinary Hospital, together with Regional Manager Christine Coe and Chief of Staff Advisor Dr. Bergeson. Each training welcomed 7–10 attendees.
The focus was on dental radiograph techniques, with plenty of hands-on practice. Participants left feeling more confident in performing x-rays at their hospitals, thanks to Abby’s practical tips and tricks.
“The dental radiograph CE was one of the BEST hands-on learning experiences I’ve had since school! Abby our presenter was wonderful. Her enthusiasm for dental x-ray was contagious. She was engaging with everyone in the room and made the experience feel personalized to each team member’s ability and familiarity with dental rads. I also want to compliment Abby and Christine on the presentation of the cadaver heads. They were clean and displayed discreetly wrapped in towels. The respect shown did not go unnoticed. I have already utilized two new plate positions that I learned last week. My DVM was very impressed." -Kelsey Watkin, Lead Technician, Orchard Veterinary Hospital
In Northern California, Regional Manager Jessica Daniels helped coordinate a session at Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital. The training was led by Mother Lode's Dr. Cameron Thompson (COS), Dr. Alex Tsompanas, and RVTs Delaney Belk and Cheyenne Petree, with additional support from Jan Yaroslav (RVT, VTS) of Chico Hospital for Cats.
With 15 attendees, including techs from Northern California and Central Valley and two DVMs, the session covered dental extractions and dental radiographs.
“I felt that everyone who attended was eager to learn. The teaching vets were excited to teach, too. It was a nice way to get excited about dentistry. It was very well organized. Multiple stations to rotate to for different aspects of learning all things dentistry. From Radiographs, to drilling with extractions, to scaling and polishing and doing minor extractions. It was nice to pick the brains of the RVTs too on how they do a dental from start to finish. They gave great advice on how to hold the scaler to what drill bit to use to expose the tooth root.” -Stefanie Taylor, RVT, Princeton Veterinary Clinic
Regional Manager Jay Mahon, along with Hospital Manager Natalee Davis and Chief of Staff Advisor, Dr. Shawna Chag, organized a session at Hampstead Animal Hospital. Led by Amy Armstrong, CVT at Hampstead, and Dr. Chag, the training welcomed 11 attendees.

These dental training sessions reflect Vetcor’s commitment to professional development and collaborative learning. By providing hands-on experiences and expert-led instruction, Vetcor empowers veterinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
