VetCor has partnered with another hospital in Virginia - meet Hartfield Animal Hospital.
Originally founded in 1990, Hartfield Animal Hospital was later purchased by Dr. Steven Skinner. Since then, this full-service animal hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care to cats and dogs in Hartfield and the surrounding communities.
After earning his DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College in 1987, Dr. Skinner spent several years practicing mixed animal medicine in upstate New York before returning to Virginia. Though he enjoys practicing traditional medicine, his special interests include nutrition and holistic medicine.
Dr. Skinner works alongside Dr. Dallas Thompson, 2007 honor graduate of Ross University. A practitioner of integrative medicine, she treats her patients using diet changes, nutritional supplements, and herbs in addition to prescription medication. She is particularly interested in nutrition and dermatology.
The doctors are supported by their hospital manager of 25 years, Cindy Fitchett, and a hardworking team of veterinary technicians and receptionists who enjoy coming to work each day.
Hartfield Animal Hospital provides their clients with a wide range of services, including wellness exams, vaccines, acupuncture, dentistry, and surgery. For the convenience of their clients, they also tout an on-site laboratory as well as an on-site pharmacy.
