Nicole Curler from the OPS team wants to recognize Emily Losee, Payroll Associate: "Emily is always willing to help and communicates well. She answered my questions promptly and is a great support. I appreciate her and everything she's done to help me!”
Crystal Fowler from Veterinary Healing Center, El Dorado Hills, California, wants to recognize Robert McCandless, Hospital Manager: "Robert is the hospital manager at Sunnyvale and despite being a busy guy, he is always willing to answer my questions about international health certificates. I truly appreciate having someone so nice and knowledgeable that I can run something past! Thank you, Robert, you rock!”

Christina Maples from the OPS team wants to recognize Kaley Unger, Recruiter: "I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Kaley Unger for her incredible work supporting practices across New Jersey. She’s consistently gone above and beyond—not just helping to find doctor candidates but making sure they’re the right fit for each team. Kaley takes the time to visit practices and build real, lasting relationships with leadership, and it truly makes a difference.”
Christina also wants to recognize Pam Aker, Hospital Manager, and Dr. Kazmierczak, COS at West Trenton Animal Hospital: “Also, a big thank you to Pam Aker and Dr. Kazmierczak for their commitment to thoughtful recruiting. Their efforts led to a great new addition to the team. From setting up individualized mentorship plans to creating a welcoming and warm space, they’ve worked hard to make sure things feel right for everyone involved. Grateful for all the care and effort this team puts in as they welcome their new doctor to their practice and the community they support every day.”
Lastly, Christina wants to recognize Liz Brooks, Director of Operations and Dave Peck, Regional Manager: "Huge shoutout to Liz Brooks—the ultimate mentor! Thank you for being patient, kind, and always showing up with support when it mattered most. I’ve learned so much from you and feel lucky to have been part of your team, focused on what matters most our people serving our beloved pets! While I’ll definitely miss seeing all your smiling faces in the hospitals, I’m so excited that someone I’ve worked alongside (and totally trust!) is stepping in as your new RM: shout out to David Peck for diving right in! Alannah Labesky from the OPS team wants to recognize Eric Detrick, Hospital Manager at Always Compassionate Veterinary Care: "Eric has been very busy the last few months relocating one of the hospitals he manages to another lovely location. He has done so much on the back end to keep things running smoothly, also while being a great mentor to other managers in the area. You've done a great job Eric!”
Alannah also wants to recognize Kayla Puster, Hospital Manager, Dr. Schuring, Dr. George, Dr. Graham and team at Bradford Hills Veterinary Hospital: "This entire team has had a lot of changes over the last couple of months. They have made some fantastic updates to their facility and are working so well as a team. I am really proud of everyone!”
Lastly, Alannah wants to recognize Lauren Nestler, Hospital Manager at Pittsburgh East Animal Hospital: "Lauren recently joined Vetcor and took on the extreme challenge of supporting 2 hospitals. She has had her hands quite full in the first two months. She is very dedicated to the doctors, staff, clients and pets in the community. Lauren, I appreciate all you’ve done so far and can’t wait to see how both hospitals continue to improve and thrive!”
Margie Giles from Sanford Animal Hospital, Sanford, North Carolina, wants to recognize Dr. Jessica Potosky, COS, DVM: "We're so lucky to have such an incredible Chief of Staff leading our team! Dr P is the glue that holds us all together and keeps us going every day! Thank you for your heart, passion, support and just everything that you do!”
Margie also wants to recognize Dr. Maria Kenny, COS, DVM at All Animals Veterinary Hospital: "I am so very thankful for Dr Kenny. She does so much for me and for the clinic overall. She has done an AMAZING job with All Animals and turning our clinic around. She has such a big heart and wants the best for everybody including our staff, our patients and their owners. Dr Kenny can multi-task like nobody's business, she is a wonderful veterinarian and leads our team with compassion and strength. All of us at All Animals are fortunate to have her and I personally feel especially fortunate.”
John Bergeson from Tanneberger Veterinary Hospital, St. Albans, Vermont, wants to recognize Jazmine Reynolds, Hospital Manager: "Jazmine has gone above and beyond getting the practice ready for our practice management software conversion to Ezyvet. There are going to be things that we still need to figure out, but she has built a lot of the templates, bundles, etc. and has done a lot of the pre-work to make the transition a little bit easier for the rest of us!”
Melanie Mills from Auburn Animal Center, Auburn, Maine, wants to recognize the entire team: "I am so very proud of this team for their dedication to their clients and patients. Justine Wood-Graves from Southern California Vet Hospital, Woodland Hills, California, wants to recognize Sam Perry, Veterinary Assistant: "Sam never fails to step up to the plate, filling in whenever and wherever the hospital needs her. Michelle Looney from Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, wants to recognize Missy Meyer, Lead Receptionist: "Missy took on a whole lot of extra work and worked a lot of extra shifts when our HM was out on medical leave and we lost our lead in our Pet Resort. Fantastic Job!!!!”
Melissa Strycker-Grzeskowiak from Western Veterinary Clinic, South Bend, Indiana, wants to recognize the whole staff: "I want to give a huge shout out to the entire staff at WVC for working together and being supportive and understanding when other team members are going through challenges. They often jump to fill in when someone is out sick or needing help or even come in on their days off to support a fellow coworker when their pet is ill or saying goodbye. Between the daily check-ins, calls, texts, it is so nice to know we have local support and are not alone in this devastating time.”

It was a rollercoaster, full of emotions and frustration but I am so thankful that everyone pulled together and helped each other out during what has likely been the most difficult time in our career at LVC.”
