Dr. Peter Soboroff, Chief of Staff at New York Cat Hospital, is on a mission to give senior cats the second chance they deserve. This November, he celebrated his 63rd birthday by running the 12th Annual Senior Cat Rescue Marathon, a one-man race fueled by compassion and purpose! Over the past 11 years, his marathons have raised nearly $400,000 for nonprofit organizations dedicated to rescuing and caring for older cats often overlooked in favor of kittens. Thanks to Dr. Soboroff and the generosity of supporters, countless senior cats have found safety, comfort, and loving homes. Dr. Soboroff proves that with determination (and a little creativity), you can turn miles into miracles for pets in need.

Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital recently welcomed one of their most uniquely named patients yet, Uno Traffic Cone! This 18-week-old kitten came in for his very first visit with Dr. Kline, and he certainly lived up to his standout name. With his bright orange coat and fearless curiosity, Uno had everyone in the clinic smiling from ear to ear. He charmed the team during his appointment and quickly became a favorite. Pleasant Valley is thrilled to have Uno join their family and can’t wait to watch him grow, hopefully dodging any real traffic cones along the way!
