Teddy hanging with Madison at Goosepond Animal

August 13, 2024

August is the universal birthday month for shelter dogs everywhere. In honor of Dogust let’s check in on some of our favorite canine patients from across our network of hospitals.

Middleton Veterinary HospitalMiddleton Veterinary Hospital - Middleton, Wisconsin
Lola really enjoyed watching the Olympics but now that they are over this lovable French Bulldog will go back to her daily life as an adorable puppy. She was in for a visit at Middleton Veterinary Hospital with Dr. White. It was her first time and she was a great patient. The team at Middleton can’t wait to have her back in again.

Wintergreen Animal Hospital Wintergreen Animal Hospital - Erie, Pennsylvania
The team at Wintergreen Animal Hospital doesn’t see many pets like Sage. She is a unique breed called a Belgian Tervuren. Belgian Tervuren are shepherds and are energetic, enthusiastic, and very intelligent. As you can see Sage has a beautiful long, silky double coat. She came in for her annual wellness visit and everything checked out great on her exam.

Veterinary Medical CenterVeterinary Medical Center - Alpharetta, Georgia
Veterinary Medical Center is pulling out all the stops to find Wall-E his forever home. He is around nine months old and is 30 pounds of puppy excitement. He has energy to spare and loves everyone and everything. The team has checked him over and he is healthy and ready for a family!

Goosepond Animal HospitalGoosepond Animal Hospital - Monroe, New York
This perfect gentleman is Teddy, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu. He spends a lot of time with his friends at Goosepond Animal Hospital due to his chronic skin issues and allergies. Here he is with Madison, an LVT on the team who is headed back to Long Island University to continue her second year of vet school. He is going to miss Madison but he also has a littermate, Lily, to keep him company.

Ramsey Veterinary HospitalRamsey Veterinary Hospital - Ramsey, New Jersey
Bodie was born in an animal shelter and fostered by a volunteer. His foster mom, along with a trainer, helped him overcome his fear of the outside world. Luckily he had 400 applications to adopt him and they were able to find a family that could take care of his particular needs. Bodie loves cheese, posing for pictures, and the team at Ramsey Veterinary Hospital where he has been a patient his whole life.

First-time visits are something to cheer about, check out some of these first-timers.
