The dog days of summer have come to a close, and what better way to mark the end of the heat than to share some of the most delightful pets around? Across our veterinary hospitals, we've been soaking up the season with wagging tails, playful visits, and plenty of puppy kisses. From fashionable bows to heart-melting first checkups, these furry friends have brought sunshine and smiles to every corner of our clinics. Join us as we highlight a few of our favorite moments that made this summer extra special!
Clevengers Corner Veterinary Care - Amissville, Virginia
Clevengers Corner Veterinary Care had an extra special visitor, an adorable pup named Seven! This little cutie brought a whole lot of tail wags and puppy kisses to the clinic. Everyone instantly fell in love with Seven’s endearing personality and happy energy. It’s safe to say the team is already looking forward to the next visit from this lovable bundle of fluff!
Goosepond Animal Hospital - Monroe, New York
Goosepond Animal Hospital is known for its creative pet photobooths, where furry friends strike a pose against fun backdrops. But this summer, one stylish pup didn’t need any props to shine. Meet Sophie! This lovely little lady came in to see Dr. Davis, dressed to impress in a darling bandana and the cutest bows. Her charm lit up the room, and her fabulousness stole the show without a single backdrop. It’s moments like these that remind everyone why Goosepond is such a special place for pets and their people.
Sturbridge Veterinary Hospital - Sturbridge, Massachusetts
It’s not every day you meet a local legend with four paws and a golden coat, but Rocky is just that. Known throughout town for his gentle spirit and community work, Rocky is a beloved resource dog who partners with the Sturbridge Police Department to bring comfort and joy wherever he goes. At Sturbridge Veterinary Hospital, the team is proud to care for this hometown hero, making sure he’s healthy and ready for every tail-wagging mission. Whether he’s attending events, offering support during tough times, or simply spreading positive vibes around town, Rocky truly represents the heart of Sturbridge.
Armitage Animal Clinic - Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
It was a golden kind of day at Armitage Animal Clinic when Bruce and Tony stopped by. These two handsome brothers turned heads and warmed hearts with their winning personalities and matching golden coats. Big brother Bruce is already showing Tony the ropes, including his signature move of carrying his own leash like a true gentleman. Tony may be younger, but he’s quickly catching on and adding his own charm to the mix. The team at Armitage enjoyed seeing their sibling bond in action and can’t wait to welcome them back for more snuggles.
Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital - Gray, Maine
Stanley made quite the entrance during his first visit to Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital last week! At just 11 weeks old and weighing in at 18 pounds, this sweet pup was full of energy. Getting a good photo wasn’t easy. Stanley was far too busy exploring and charming the team with his playful personality. Thankfully, the blooper shots captured his joyful spirit perfectly. Dr. Filler had the pleasure of meeting this little star, and everyone’s already looking forward to seeing Stanley again (hopefully with fewer wiggles next time)!
