Big Hearts and Little Moments

Big Hearts and Little Moments
Our Vetcor teams celebrate every brave, silly, and sincere moment pets bring through our doors.

March 10, 2026

Across our Vetcor hospitals, we see moments that highlight the growth, confidence, and personalities of the pets we care for. From returning patients showing how much they've grown to pets finding comfort and calm during their visits, these experiences remind us how meaningful a supportive veterinary environment can be. Our teams love celebrating the small moments that show the trust pets place in us during every appointment.

Stonebridge Veterinary HospitalStonebridge Veterinary Hospital – Rockwall, Texas

Stonebridge Veterinary Hospital introduced its newest team member, Max, in November. Found early in life in a barn and arriving underweight and unsure of people, he has settled into the clinic with a mix of curiosity and caution. Now, he can often be seen supervising the staff, batting around his favorite toy, watching “Cat TV,” or napping, his preferred activity. Though still a bit shy with visitors, Max enjoys observing the hustle of the hospital from a comfortable distance. In this photo, he’s pictured making do with a drawer after requesting a “standing desk” for chart review.

Russell Veterinary HospitalRussell Veterinary Hospital – Russell, Pennsylvania

At Russell Veterinary Hospital, the team recently welcomed back Copper, who has been visiting the clinic since her earliest puppy days. Staff noted how remarkable it was to see how much she has grown since her first appointment, transitioning from a timid little pup into a confident, well-mannered visitor. Her latest exam went beautifully, and she impressed everyone with her calm, friendly demeanor throughout the visit. They look forward to many more visits as she continues to grow and thrive.

Lexington-Bedford Veterinary HospitalLexington-Bedford Veterinary Hospital – Lexington, Massachusetts

Pixie recently visited Lexington-Bedford Veterinary Hospital for her vaccine appointment, arriving with a bit of extra emotional support in the form of her favorite stuffed animal. The comforting companion helped her feel secure during the visit, and the team admired how calmly and bravely she handled each step of her appointment with technician Stephanie. These small moments of reassurance show how beneficial familiar items can be in helping pets feel at ease during clinical visits. The hospital loves seeing the unique ways pets demonstrate resilience and confidence, and they encourage pet owners to share their own pets’ brave moments that strengthen the bond between families and veterinary teams.

Hill-Dale Veterinary CareHill-Dale Veterinary Care – Baraboo, Wisconsin

At Hill-Dale Veterinary Care, the team recently observed just how much a calm and supportive environment can influence a patient’s experience. During a routine exam with Dr. Sam, Barley became so relaxed that he drifted off to sleep right on the exam table. The gentle approach, quiet atmosphere, and steady reassurance provided by the staff helped create a sense of ease that allowed him to fully settle in. This highlights the hospital’s commitment to reducing stress for both pets and their families, ensuring each visit feels safe, unrushed, and comfortable. The team takes pride in creating an environment where even the most cautious animals can rest (sometimes quite literally!) knowing they’re in good hands.

Boulevard Animal HospitalBoulevard Animal Hospital – Shelby, North Carolina

The team recently enjoyed a visit from Xander, an almost 4½-year-old mixed-breed patient whose cheerful personality made an immediate impression. At Boulevard Animal Hospital, he acted as though the clinic was his favorite place to be, greeting the staff with enthusiasm and settling comfortably into his exam. Throughout his appointment, Xander soaked up attention, showed off his calm and friendly demeanor, and kept the team laughing with his sweet, silly charm. His visit was a reminder of how uplifting it is when pets feel relaxed and happy in the hospital environment. The team looks forward to seeing Xander again and appreciates the joy and positivity he brings with every visit.
