The team at North Country Animal Hospital in North Conway and Gorham, New Hampshire is looking for our next full-time or part-time associate veterinarian. Our doctors are supported by an experienced staff most of whom are working on becoming certified veterinary technicians. The Gorham location will be going through renovations to add more services currently both locations offer soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery as well as digital x-ray. We love being involved with the community and most recently participated in a rabies clinic put on by the COOS Animal Sanctuary in nearby Colebrook NH.
An experienced vet would be a good fit on our team. Our full-time veterinarian schedule is 4 weekdays, and there are no after hours, or on call shifts. We are also open to a part-time schedule between 16-24 hours per week.
North Conway is a 4-season vacation destination so you can work where you play all year round. There are multiple ski resorts (downhill and cross-country) trails for hiking biking 4-wheeling snowmobiling rivers and lakes for fishing kayaking and canoeing. It is definitely a family-friendly area with a lot to offer all ages.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
