Kelso offers a great small-town community feel and is only two hours from ski slopes in (White Pass in Naches, WA, or Mt. Hood in Government Camp, OR). If skiing is not your thing, there is also access to rivers for fishing, kayaking, rafting, or day hikes within 30-minutes. Plus, the pristine coastal beaches of WA and OR are only an hour and a half away!
Total compensation includes a base salary ($120,000 - $130,000), production bonus, and a signing bonus of $50,000! Full time employment includes medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
