Countryside Pet Hospital in Conover, NC is looking to add a veterinarian to our growing practice. We are a full-service hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our doctors enjoy collaborating on cases with each other in a newer facility, built in 2018, that is equipped with four exam rooms, digital radiology, one dedicated dental suite, a full surgical suite, and a well-equipped in-house lab. Multiple members of our fantastic support staff have been with us for quite some time, most ranging anywhere between 15-20 years. They are competent, caring, and efficient, which allows our doctors to practice excellent medicine. We proudly support Rising Hope Farms, a therapeutic equine activity center for individuals with special needs, along with other shelter organizations as they arise.
We have no on-call or emergency hours. Our staff does some callbacks for the previous day's sick and surgery patients on Saturdays, and doctors will rotate responding to any concerns that may arise. Our hours are 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, and we see appointments from 8:40am-5:20pm. Appointments are run on a 20-minute basis. Our collaborative team has a wide range of experience and areas of interest, which helps provide a healthy work/life balance. This is an excellent opportunity for new grads and experienced doctors alike. Surgical and dental experience is a plus!
