CNY Veterinary Service at Animal Kingdom in Clay, NY is seeking an awesome veterinarian to join our community-based practice! We are open to all levels of experience (new grads, associate veterinarians, experienced doctors seeking leadership opportunities, etc.)!
We aim to deliver the best quality of compassionate care for small animals. Our main priority is navigating decisions for our clients' pets' health through preventative, therapeutic, and palliative options. We are able to provide this outstanding care by practicing in a modern facility equipped with advanced diagnostic features, including digital x-rays, laser therapy and an upgraded dental unit. Our new DVM will enjoy the large building with ample exam rooms. We have 5 exam rooms and a comfort room with its own entrance/exit for client use. Our new DVM will also be able to enjoy a private office with large beautiful windows and a very large break room, which is some of the many things this location has to offer due to its enormous footprint.
In addition to a fantastic facility, we really value work/life balance. No after-hours emergency on-call is required due to having a local emergency center. We also offer a 4-day work week, are closed on the weekends and close at 6:00 pm during the week.
Clay is a town in Onondaga County, the largest suburb of Syracuse, New York. Clay has a small-town atmosphere without any of the hassle of big city living. It's a fantastic place for hiking, camping, and boating opportunities are available in the Fingerlakes region directly to the west, in the Adirondacks to the northeast, and along Lake Ontario to the north. There are also places for cinema, theater, and great food. It is also the location of the NY state fairgrounds which bring in many diverse activities throughout the year. The salary for this position starts at $120k+ and increases based on experience, responsibilities, work schedule, and many other factors.
