We are under new management and looking for a veterinarian to join our amazing team! At ZippiVet South Austin we have a strong, family-oriented team environment with great work-life balance. Our goal is to practice the best quality medicine with a fun and cohesive team.
What makes ZippiVet South Austin a great place to work:
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is seeking professional growth! The full-time doctor schedule is 4 days a week, from 8 am - 6 pm.
South Austin is what locals like to call a "taste of old Austin." Quaint houses, old-school boutiques, iconic restaurants and new eateries by some of the city's top up-and-coming chefs populate this lively nook. Head here to get away from the crowds and decompress in Austin's largest city park, which is in walking distance from the clinic. South Austin runs the gamut from the wide open green spaces of Barton Springs, to the trendy shopping/dining/artist/music districts near SoCo, to the bright minds of The University of Texas and St. Edwards University, to the quiet, middle-class residential communities of Bouldin Creek and Travis Heights.
We offer a generous sign-on bonus, competitive salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more. The emotional and physical wellbeing of our employees is important to us.
We can’t wait to show you how special we are and look forward to hearing from you. Get in touch by applying today!
I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
Join a group of motivated veterinary professionals while taking advantage of employee programs, resources, and fantastic benefits.
