Amsterdam Animal Hospital in Amsterdam, NY is seeking an experienced veterinarian looking to make this place their own! Our hospital already has a caring and dedicated support staff, who thrives in a cooperative environment to enhance learning, growth, and patient care. We are Fear-Free Certified and offer: dental radiology, laser surgery, orthopedic pet surgery, ultrasounds, boarding, and more! In addition to taking care of our clients and their pets, we love to take care of our employees as well. We prioritize work/life balance and are open to a 4- or 5-day work week, with no on call hours. Working Saturdays are also not a must.
We are located on the foothills of the Adirondacks- Amsterdam, NY, offers year-round outdoor activities. We are a 5 minute drive to Mohawk River where you can enjoy boating, and fishing! We are also less than an hour from biking/walking trails, winter skiing, snowmobile trails, golf, basketball, baseball, tennis, and football. Amsterdam is also 30 minutes from city life too! Even furthermore, our hospital is within a short distance of major cities such as Boston, MA, Montpelier, Vermont and Montreal, Canada!
The salary for this position starts at $130k+ and increases based on experience, responsibilities, work schedule, and many other factors.
