Twin Creek Animal Hospital, P.C. is looking for a licensed veterinary technician for a full-time position. We are a full-service, three-doctor small animal hospital. We offer health insurance, paid CE, paid dues and licenses, 5 days paid vacation after one year. The position will include weekdays only.
Our technicians are encouraged to be technicians! Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A neat and clean appearance, personable and well-spoken communication with clients and staff in person and on the telephone, physical work including lifting, bending and crouching, to accomplish a variety of medical tasks including administering medications by any route, placing intravenous catheters, blood pressure checks, ECG, complete instrumentation and monitoring of patients for general anesthesia for general surgery and dentistry/oral surgery, laboratory work including collecting fecal and urine samples and performing testing in house and packaging for external laboratory submission, and other tasks and duties as assigned.
