Our TechLife team regularly connects with techs across the VetCor network to:

 

  • Communicate current benefits and opportunities

  • Encourage techs to work with their hospital managers and Chiefs of Staff to learn new skills to further develop their careers
  • Offer a forum for our technicians to connect, ask questions, and share ideas
  • Introduce regional managers and the TechLife team as support contacts
  • Utilize tech feedback to identify and implement additional opportunities for support!

As a Licensed or experienced Veterinary Technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

 

  • Vaccine knowledge
  • Preventative care knowledge
  • Knowledge of Fear Free practices
  • Medication dispensing and administering
  • Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
  • Pharmacology calculations
  • Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc)
  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

 

This is a full-time position for a Licensed or experienced Veterinary Technician. Your talent and skill as a veterinary technician are certainly essential to your success in this role. We’ll love your expertise, passion, eagerness to grow and learn, and ability to work well with a team.
