December 13, 2022We have the most amazing clinic pets and patients at our hospitals. In honor of Cat Lovers Month, we are highlighting a few fabulous felines that brighten up everyone’s day at their hospitals. This month we also celebrated International Day of Veterinary Medicine, see how one hospital used this day to show appreciation for their clients.
Springfield Animal Hospital - Springfield, Ohio
Peggy was recently inducted to Springfield Animal Hospital as their new clinic cat. She is from Black and Orange Rescue, a local organization. She was born with three legs but that doesn’t stop her from doing what she loves, like climbing her new cat tree by the window. Peggy has warmed everyone’s hearts and is a great stress reliever throughout the team’s busy day.
Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center - Akron, Ohio
Tigger is the clinic cat at Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center and he just got put on the naughty list. Judging by the look on his face, he is not pleased that the hospital elf, Buddy, caught him pretending to be starving so he could have seconds.
Animal Medical Center - Beaufort, South Carolina
This clinic cat has his own bio on the Animal Medical Center website. DQ has been a part of the team for 12 years. He is very interested in what is going on and often monitors the doctors and technicians. Clients are greeted by DQ either from the porch or from his spot on the cat tree in the lobby. He is a beloved part of the team and provides much-needed emotional support to everyone.
Dearborn Family Pet Care - Dearborn, Michigan
There was a new patient at Dearborn Family Pet Care and she had a special surprise. She was a pregnant rescue and her babies came in early December. The team reports that both momma and babies are doing well!!
Willowood Acres Veterinary Clinic - Romulus, Michigan
On International Day of Veterinary Medicine, the team at Willowood Acres Veterinary Clinic not only celebrated their colleagues in vet med and their team but also the clients that place their companions’ care in their hands. So many hospitals posted about International Day of Vet Med and had some heartfelt comments from the clients about their wonderful experiences. One of Willowood’s clients wrote, “Thank you so much for all that you do for these beautiful animals and for my baby. Love you all.”
Our hospitals showed their festive side in our last blog, take a look!
