Lake Station Pet Clinic Becomes Partner Practice 295

Lake Station Pet Clinic in Lake Station, Indiana is the newest addition to the VetCor family, becoming our 295th partner practice and our 12th location in the Hoosier State.

Lake Station Pet Clinic in Lake Station, INA full-service animal hospital, Lake Station Pet Clinic was founded by Dr. Steve Heckler in 1982. Since then, it has amassed a solid client base and evolved into the practice it is today.

Dr. Heckler earned a DVM degree from Purdue University. He enjoys working with animals whose illnesses are difficult to diagnose and he has strong interests in both pathology and cytology. He works alongside a number of doctors, including Dr. Philip Cooper, who particularly enjoys surgery.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, Dr. Jessica Clements has been working at Lake Station Pet Clinic for nearly 20 years. Dermatology is her special interest. Dr. Nicole Mock has been working at Lake Station since 2008. She started out as a kennel technician and became a veterinarian after earning a DVM degree in 2014.

The doctors are supported by their dedicated hospital manager, Kim Walter, and a small but mighty team of veterinary technicians, kennel technicians, and receptionists. They are regularly praised for their friendly demeanor and compassionate attitude.

Lake Station Pet Clinic offers clients a number of services, ranging from wellness visits and boarding to microchipping, radiology, and dentistry. The team firmly believes in treating every client’s pet as if they were their own.
