Dr. Jennifer R. Koenig

Vice President of Veterinary Leadership
Based in Mesa, AZ

Dr. Koenig grew up on a farm in rural Wisconsin. Her family owned and raised dairy cows, dogs, cats, horses, goats, and sheep. She spent her childhood days gallivanting about on her horse for hours and caring for all the other critters in the barn. Dr. Koenig’s family and friends were not surprised when she pursued a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Koenig completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She then continued her collegiate path at Iowa State University, earning a degree in 2006 from The College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Koenig practiced small animal medicine in Washington State for 15 years, 7 of those years were as a practice owner. She moved to Arizona with her family in 2022, and she has a dog and two horses. 

In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, travel, mountain biking, trying new cuisine, photography, and spending time with family.
