Dr. Michelle Shoemaker is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for mentorship, well-being, and nurturing the professional growth of veterinarians.  After completing her veterinary education at Oregon State University and Washington State University, she has made Olympia, WA her home and has been an integral part of the local veterinary community for nearly 20 years.

Dr. Shoemaker enjoys running, kayaking, and volunteering. Additionally, she finds joy in traveling, especially to Disneyland and Disneyworld.  She loves spending quality time with her family consisting of her supportive husband, two amazing children, four dogs, a miniature horse, and a miniature donkey.

Constantly seeking personal growth, she recently completed her MBA, further equipping her with skills needed in both veterinary practice and leadership roles. With a keen focus on leadership and a commitment to lifelong learning, she strives to positively impact the veterinary community at Vetcor.
