About CCAH
We are a busy 5-doctor practice in West County Saint Louis. We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles. We have a team of people who are very close-knit, but also very welcoming to new employees.
We are an AAHA-accredited practice, so we have a very high standard for our patients as well as our employees. But because of this, we are the best in St. Louis!
Team harmony and our core values matter just as much to us as helping pets.
About You
We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience. Certification is valued and would result in better compensation.
We need someone who can work effectively with people (not just pets). Someone who has confidence and charisma that can help clients through all types of situations.
You will be able to place IV catheters, draw blood, give injections, provide animal care with safe and humane handling, perform laboratory tests, take x-rays, and follow treatment plans prescribed to our hospital patients.
You will be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, and left at least 50lbs. You will be the type of person that is on time (or early) and can help cover shifts when a team member is sick or on vacation. Hard work will be important, but so are breaks, lunches, and days off.
The Role
We need a full-time veterinary technician to work 3-4 weekdays as well as every other Saturday, and some holidays.
You’ll be assisting in appointments, helping the doctors administer anesthetics, preparing and assisting in surgery, providing support therapy to patients during and after procedures, helping the doctors treat patients during appointments, performing clinical laboratory procedures, taking and processing radiographs, and admitting and discharging patients.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
